Summer is coming to an end, autumn is upon us and winter is just around the corner. It ‘s time to put away the rock climbing shoes, and dust boots. Some say the best training for cross country skiing is in itself, but if you have skied in the southern hemisphere summer, you almost reached your peak at the time winter comes to an end. The biggest advantage you can do for you this ski season is to get your fitness and listen to your strength and power honed. Give yourself the opportunity to ski like you’ve never skied.
Cardio will give you the energy to go on all day, weight training, will give you bursts of power you have to tear bumpy, or work off-piste.
